About Divers United
Divers United is owned by Alun Evans who started diving back in 1984 with his BSAC Branch in The UK.
In 2002, Alun made a career change, and moved to Sharm El Sheikh in the Red Sea to pursue a career in the activity he loved so much, in the place where he had been on dive holidays many times before, with his friends and also with his family.

After a few years of working in the dive industry in Sharm, Alun's wife Moyra, encouraged Alun to set up on his own, so in 2005, Alun formed Red Sea Elite Diving and in turn in early 2008, took over Divers United, a PADI Diving Centre. Since then, while dedicating themselves to making diving holidays special and adopting a high standard of service and diver safety, they have elivated their dive center to a very respected facility in the local dive comunity and on the world stage. Elite Diving with Divers United, was transformed into a 5 Star PADI Centre and now is a PADI IDC Centre, where divers can learn to dive, and learn to be a PADI Instructor themselves.
Alun admits, that "it's Moyra's organisation skills in the early days of our administration system, that has helped make the dive centre the success it is".
Whereas Moyra says, "it's Alun's dedication to delivering safe fun diving whether it's on courses or for qualified divers that has helped to give us such a good name".

After many years of success, and winning countless awards, where the couple contributed to a winning combination, Alun and Moyra are now taking a backward step and letting their son G (AKA Gwyn) take over.
G joined the company in Sharm back in 2014 and with the training he has had, and the experience he has gained, he is now managing the dive centre. You can see G in the underwater photo above, and in his elite Diving Shirt on the right.
G has managed the dive centre for several years now, and has built up a solid team of ground crew, Dive Instructors and boat crew around him.
Taking on his parent’s standards, nothing is still too much trouble for the team at Divers United. They simply offer a personal service where all guests receive the VIP treatment.
